I’m a primary care provider and I’m not afraid to say this⬇️
🧪 When your labs aren’t where they should be, it’s usually not just one thing. It’s your daily routine over time. You can’t expect different numbers if nothing in your lifestyle has changed.
🏃♀️ You don’t need a perfect plan to start. Show up, move your body, and do something simple like walking, biking, or lifting a few times a week. Consistency matters more than doing everything “right.”
❌ The excuses you give yourself for not starting aren’t really excuses. They are usually the exact reasons you should be making a change.
❤️ When it comes to things like cholesterol, diet is only one part of the equation. If you actually want to improve your numbers, movement and consistency are what make the biggest impact.
🧠 Mental health is no different. Regular movement can help manage anxiety, depression, and overall stress levels, and in some cases reduce reliance on medications.
⏳ Chronic disease doesn’t just happen overnight. It develops over time, and if nothing changes after diagnosis, it often leads to more health issues down the line.
👨👩👧👦 Your habits don’t just affect you. They shape your environment. What you prioritize now is what your family will grow up seeing and repeating.
At the end of the day, your routine is either supporting your health or working against it.
