Let me show you how to safely and modestly help your clients get relief from symphysis p***s or pelvic girdle pain.

The SI joint can certainly be part of the problem. I’m focusing here on the anterior aspects because they so offen get overlooked.

A skilled massage therapist can help balance the pelvic bones, ligaments, and muscular attachments that create stability in the pelvis. The tricky part is that every day as the baby is growing, the mother’s body is making micro adjustments to keep her upright. If there is already a pattern of tension, like an old injury or scar tissue, the body will compensate to create balance wherever it can. Massage therapy can help stabilize the symphysis p***s, relieve and strengthen the surrounding muscles to provide lasting pain relief.

Oooo….This is good!
I’ve often referred to birth as a marathon, but never used the idea of passing the “ labor support baton”. You do need coping skills that will pull you through to the end and resolve to keep going. That’s where your doula
comes in. Doula’s hold the space and guide you when to change tools , ie pass the baton.
