I’ve noticed a small uptick in aquamation keepsake jewelry lately 🤍 Yes, I can absolutely work with aquamation ashes.
Aquamation ashes tend to be much softer than traditional cremation ashes. When placed into resin, they don’t appear as solid fragments. Instead they become more translucent, almost crystal-like, forming their own delicate, geode-style beauty.
This is a different visual outcome than traditional cremation ashes and that’s okay. Every keepsake is meant to be uniquely beautiful and uniquely yours.
When I gently let this customer know that her ashes were very soft, her response stopped me in my tracks:
“Then that’s how it was supposed to be.”
This ring holds her beautiful cat who recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🤍
The emerald-cut stone cradles her ashes, forming what look like tiny crystal formations of their own.
The pear-cut stone, chosen in green to match her eyes, holds a lock of her pitch-black fur.
Immense care, intention and personalization go into every piece I create, because no two stories and no two loves are ever the same.
