One thing I like to talk about in sessions with Hardship clients, is the symptoms they're experiencing at the thought of their loved one leaving.
The scenario I pose is the following: imagine your loved one leaves tomorrow. Forever. What repercussions would that bring in your life? Unfortunately, that's the probability. In our evaluations, we are precise in portraying each scenario of emotional, medical, social, and economic hardship.

Did you know that using jealousy as an excuse for aggressive behavior, is psychological abuse?
One thing all of my domestic violence clients have in common, are the feelings of confusion and guilt. When I assess a client and they say things like "I never knew what mood he was going to be in", or "I started feeling guilty after all of our fights, even the ones he started", I see confirmation of psychological abuse.
Enduring the situation is not healthy, nor a solution. It is okay to have feelings of wanting to get help. There is assistance available, both for mental health, and your legal status.
