Unit 11 has officially arrived and will soon be placed into service as our next certified ambulance. This unit was delivered direct from Houston, Texas, and is currently being prepared for inspection, certification, and equipment installation.

Stryker is responding to a global network disruption to our Microsoft environment as a result of a cyber attack. We have no indication of ransomware or malware and believe the incident is contained.

Our teams are working to understand the full impact to our internal environment and while we continue to investigate, below are responses to some of your inquiries:

Are my LIFEPAK Devices impacted?
No, the devices are not impacted. These devices have their own security protocols and operate completely independently of the Stryker network.

Do I need to restart devices or remove batteries on my device?
No, you do not need to take any action.

Is it safe to transmit via LIFENET System?
Our LIFENET system continues to function normally with no impact from the disruption. We have verified customer information is flowing as expected and will continue to monitor system performance. We have also taken additional precautions to further secure the system due to the critical nature of the customer data.

We have been made aware that some ePCR vendors and/or hospital systems may have temporarily paused transmissions. If you are experiencing this issue, please contact your ePCR vendor or Hospital administrators.

Today we took delivery of the first 4 of 10 total ZOLL Zenix monitors that will soon be placed into service across our fleet.

These next-generation cardiac monitors represent a major investment in the quality of care we provide to our communities. The Zenix platform brings enhanced cardiac monitoring, improved data integration, and expanded clinical capabilities that will help our crews deliver faster, more informed patient care in the field.

Over the next several weeks, our team will be completing staff training and final setup. We expect to have all monitors fully deployed by April 15th.

We are excited to continue investing in the tools and technology that support our crews and improve patient outcomes.

We’re excited to announce that ProMed is investing in the new ZOLL Zenix monitor/defibrillators for our ambulances. These next-generation devices were recently approved by the FDA and represent the latest advancements in emergency cardiac and patient monitoring technology.

We are currently working with ZOLL to build and configure the monitors specifically for our crews and clinical protocols before they are fully deployed across our fleet.

This is another step forward as ProMed continues to grow and bring advanced care to Southwest Virginia.
