You don’t need fancy trackers or apps — just watch your estrogen and progesterone clues.
When estrogen’s rising — that’s your fertile window. You might notice things like:
👉 more cervical mucus (hello egg whites)
👉 a higher s*x drive
👉 your cervix feels soft or open
👉 maybe even a twinge or two down there
Those are your go-time days. Every other day works fine.
Then after ovulation? Progesterone takes over.
Think: tired, tender b***s, maybe emotional, maybe craving naps or chocolate. 🍫
If you notice those post-ovulation signs — congrats, your body probably did ovulate.

✨So often we think our periods are late… but in reality, ovulation just happened later than we thought.
For years, I assumed I ovulated around day 14 or 15 (because that’s what we’ve all been told, right?). Turns out, my body runs more like day 22 and that simple realization changed everything.
When you actually know when ovulation is happening, you can time your nourishment, rest, and hormone support in the other phases of your cycle to improve implantation and overall balance. 🌿

Where they hide, why they matter, and how to detox your routine without tossing everything at once
Parabens are one of those little chemicals that have quietly made their way into so many products we use every single day from face wash to deodorant to body lotion. Here’s the problem: parabens can mimic estrogen in your body.

they can disrupt your natural hormone balance something that’s especially important when you’re trying to conceive or simply want to support your cycle health & thyroid function, the truth: your body doesn’t need more hormone lookalikes to process.
👣 Start Here — Small Shifts That Make a Big Impact
You don’t need to throw out your entire bathroom cabinet. Instead, focus on the highest-impact swaps first the ones that come into contact with your skin and bloodstream most often.
1️⃣ Check these first: Daily use
Face moisturizer or serum
Body lotion
Deodorant
Foundation or tinted moisturizer
Feminine care products (wipes, washes, lubricants)
2️⃣ Flip the label and look for these endings:
Ingredients ending in: -paraben (like methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, or ethylparaben)
3️⃣ Choose better:
Look for products labeled “paraben-free”, “fragrance-free”, or from trusted non-toxic brands. Some retailers have already removed parabens from their shelves, but it’s still smart to double-check.
🌿 Fertility-Friendly Swaps
Moisturizer: Try shea butter, cocoa butter, or cold-pressed sunflower oil for dry skin.
Makeup remover: Use fractionated coconut oil or a clean micellar water.
Body lotion: Swap for aloe vera gel + a few drops of jojoba or argan oil.

Every swap you make creates a little more room for your hormones to do their job to communicate clearly, to build up progesterone naturally, and to support healthy cycles. This is how your body moves closer to balance, one small choice at a time.
