Dear friends, we have some news.

The Path has been a sacred peaceful place for us, and it has been such a beautiful journey to create a home and a family in the space. However, after some careful consideration and meditation, we have decided to permanently close the studio.

Our final day of class will be July 9th, so we are encouraging you to make it to the classes in this upcoming week as a farewell.

We feel so lucky to have experienced each and every one of you, and it has been amazing to watch you all grow and expand in many different ways. Please join us in the last chance to practice some yoga in the studio this week.

Thank you all so much.

Sincerely,
Nicole

“Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, or difficulty. I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.” Theodore Roosevelt⁣

New class announcement! 🎉 ⁣

Join Noelle for Yoga Nidra at the end of April! ⁣

The first half of this special class will be a Slow Vinyasa Flow followed by a Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is the practice of Yogic Sleep. 😴 ⁣

BRING (optional): A pillow, a blanket, and a journal/pen (for 3-5 mins. of free writing after class)⁣

On Yoga Nidra: “Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that is going through a revival. It’s kind of like meditation, but not really. It’s called yoga, but you do it lying down in Savasana. Initially, people often fall asleep, but eventually One learns to ride the slower brain waves into an altered state of awareness where you meet yourself in new and revolutionary ways.” Words by Jana Roemer⁣

Science has said that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to four hours of uninterrupted, restful sleep. In Yoga Nidra, you are guided from the Beta brain wave state (where we operate most of the day and in times of stress) into the Theta and Alpha brain wave states. These brain waves are the frequencies of creativity, intuition and healing. Words fall away, and the healing beauty of Silence takes over, the experience is YOURS to be felt. People with a consistent Yoga Nidra practice have expressed experiencing healing from trauma, clarity, less anxiety, better sleep, and more compassion towards self and others. 🧘🏻‍♀️ ⁣

About Noelle Zmuda: Noelle Zmuda has been teaching yoga for 10 years. My practice is what informs my teaching. Movement, spiritual teachings, dreamwork, meditation, and Yoga Nidra are each a part of my own daily practice, and I can only share what is also an authentic part of my practice on and off the mat. It is my pleasure, I’m excited I mean!, to share this practice with you, as it has been meaningful and healing in my own life. ⁣

Join Noelle for Yoga Nidra by signing up for this class using the link in bio.⁣

Ahhhhhh, the great outdoors. My favorite outdoor activity is hiking, biking, sun bathing, boating, swimming...pretty much anything in the warm sun. 🌞 I also can’t wait to start my garden!!

Not only does it get my blood flowing, but a little fresh air really helps me to be happy and healthy.

Here’s your friendly reminder that fresh air will help keep you fresh, so go out and get some Vitamin D!

Drop some emojis in the comments that describe your favorite outdoor activity and let’s see if I can guess what it is!

Allergy season is here!⁣

We wanted to share some tips to help you naturally tame those allergies 🤧 ⁣

1. Consume Raw Local Honey -⁣
Yum! This one is easy to do. And we're lucky because raw local honey is pretty easy to find in our area. ⁣

2. Use essential oils -⁣
Essential Oils like Eucalyptus and the Breathe Blend are perfect this time of year. Our favorite essential oil company also has TriEase soft gels that are specifically developed to protect against seasonal elements.⁣

3. Support your respiratory system -⁣
There are many supplements that have a blend of natural herbs that are great for allergies and your respiratory system. ⁣

4. Go to yoga -⁣
Especially hot yoga! Hot yoga will help your respiratory system and inversion poses help open nasal passages. Yoga also boosts our immune system which helps decrease our risk for allergies. ⁣

5. Eat an anti-inflammatory diet -⁣
The top things to avoid for this are grains and sugar as those are the most inflammatory foods/ingredients out there.⁣

Which of these do you practice already?

Flexibility...if you don’t use it, you lose it. ⁣

You really do! ⁣

We’re born as incredibly flexible beings. But with sitting most of the time at school and work and driving etc without making time to stretch daily, we lose that flexibility. ⁣

And while we all want to be as limber as our yoga instructor, be ok with where your body is at now because we’re all different (as you can see in this picture).⁣

Heating your body up while stretching makes it easier on your body which is why we like warm yoga. ⁣

So we’ll see you here at the studio for your daily warm stretch!
