Today we want to recognize Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck who will be supporting Mason Mocha. Make sure to visit them in the parking lot of the POST FALLS Grocery Outlet, 2588 ID-41, on Friday, April 24th from 9am-1pm!

Thank you Sodalove! If you haven't stopped by (Super One parking lot CDA) do it! Their drinks are so creative and fun! It's perfect if you would like to participate on Friday and are not a fan of coffee!

You can visit any participating coffee stand in the morning, and then swing by sodalove in the evening! Don’t forget to grab a pretzel or cookie too!

We loved our training with EWU!

Last week our team had the opportunity to spend time together at Eastern Washington University for a prenatal and child development training. It was such a meaningful week filled with learning, growth, and connection.
On Thursday, we had a little fun while supporting an important cause—we wore our jammies for PJ’s for Safe Sleep! 💛 We also learned more about safe sleep practices from our amazing partners at Safe Start and Spokane Regional Health District.
Here we are in our cozy gear—learning, connecting, and supporting safe sleep for our little ones! 💤

Our Story

Safe Start, a program of Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance, is dedicated to improving childhood health and safety throughout the Northwest via our educational programs, public safety initiative and regional partnerships. We believe every child deserves to celebrate their first birthday and beyond, free from accidental death and injury.

Every year, 3700 infants die due to Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID), the number one cause of death for infants in the US. Data shows that 90% of these deaths may have been prevented if caregivers knew and had followed the ABC’s of Safe Infant Sleep. The heartbreaking statistic is why we are dedicated to our life-saving mission.

Educating parents, caregivers, medical professionals and first-responders on the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommendations for Safe Infant Sleep is our main target for preventing the majority of these deaths.

We also realize there is little support for grieving families who have suffered the ultimate loss of a child. No matter the cause of death, we are here to provide support during their journey of grief.
