There are so many areas of shame that can show up in motherhood. It begins in pregnancy with so much unwarranted advice, even from strangers in the grocery store! Am I right mamas? I truly believe that all of my clients have all of the strength and wisdom they need within. There's enough advice out there in the world. Let's lead the way and show up by supporting each other in whatever decisions we decide to make for our families, what do you say?

I have helped many individuals, couples, and families with personal growth, emotion regulation, improving social functioning, relationship issues, family conflict, grief, loss, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use, marital issues, major life changes, women’s issues, pre-marital therapy, stress, personality disorders and mood disorders.

I believe that our relationships and environment are vitally important to our growth and development, so I primarily work from a systems perspective. This means that in order to understand the individual, it is important to pay attention to not only family and relationships, but the various interactions in individual’s broader social context. I hold a certification, and prefer using the Gottman Method when treating couples. Along with systems theory, I integrate many evidenced based methods while providing a safe and supportive space for you to process whatever you need to. This includes: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory,Existential, and Humanistic therapies.
