Linda W. W**d, age 70, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at The Journey Home in Bartlesville.

Linda was born on May 27, 1955, in Okinawa, Japan where she lived with her parents until she was 12. Her father, Leo, was stationed there as a Green Beret. After coming back to the states she lived with her mother, Camilla, in Sarcoxie, Missouri until she married Jim W**d.

The couple were married for 30 years until their divorce. After her divorce she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma with a friend. Linda then met David Kinney. They became good friends; she moved in with David after he was diagnosed with epilepsy. They both worked in the mortgage business. Linda moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma and worked in the retirement industry. Together they managed several Independent Living Facilities; then they created a mortgage business that is still presently operating.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her long-time friend and companion David Kinney of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; son, Dakota W**d of Washington State; her aunt, Dorothy Duncan of Sacramento, California along with many extended relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family present to greet friends will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lewark Church of God in Coffeyville. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville.

Karen “Kay” (Willis) Hills, age 86, of Havana, Kansas passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Kay was born November 21, 1939, in Santa Monica, California to Harold William “Ted” Willis and Emma Annabelle Crawford. Ted was a sales representative for J.C. Penney. Emma graduated from Bethany Nursing College in Kansas City in 1932; she became a pediatric nurse. Ted and Emma were separated for many years and divorced in 1950. Kay and her sister Dee went to many different schools while growing up from Santa Monica, California; Redding, California, Des Moines, Iowa; Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Miami, Oklahoma and Coffeyville, Kansas. Kay finished her junior and senior years at Field Kindley Memorial High School. Kay was involved in the Kayettes 3, 4; Junior Play Crew and Choir 3. Kay enjoyed roller skating and worked at the Miami Skate Rink her freshman and sophomore years where she took dance lessons. She enjoyed dancing at the Teen Town in the Memorial Hall building. Kay had many friends for her last two years of high school. Kay never met a stranger and was kind to everyone especially children. Her senior trip took her and her best friend Jody to Ruthven, Iowa to see her daddy. Kay graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in May of 1957. Kay enrolled in Coffeyville Community College for two more years of education. While going to college she worked for Dr. Ellis as a receptionist/secretary.

Kay never completed college as she met Ronnie Hills the love of her life. They were engaged and married on February 8, 1959, at the First Church of God. Kay and Ron had three children. Ronald Mark born January 18, 1960, Kimberly Kay born March 16, 1962, and Todd Alan born November 7, 1969.

Kay worked at Bob’s Gifts Shop, Boles Jewelry part time. Kay ran the little league concession stand from 1976 to 1980. Ron was the little league director. Mark graduated from high school in May of 1978. Tragedy struck when Kim was killed in a truck wreck the start of her junior year on September 8, 1978. Todd was eight years old. Kim had worked the past three summers at the little league concession stand. Kay and Ron ran the little league for two more years ending in 1980. Kay was a volunteer Girl Scout leader, PTA, Meals on Wheels, gave blood to the Red Cross regularly, church summer vacation bible school teacher and a Sunday children’s church ministry worker. She began work as a school para for the USD 445 in 1984, as a special needs assistant at Lowell, Longfellow and Dearing schools. In 1995, she began work as a Head Start teacher for three years and gave up her work in 1998. In 1999, she began to clean mobile homes at the Dearing Trailor Park on the corner of Highway 166 and 10th Street for six years with her friend Faye. In 2005, she decided to quit work and retire.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Hills of the home; two sons, Mark Hills and Todd Hills and wife Gayle; grandson Preston Hills; two step-grandchildren, Brandon and Stacy; and numerous other extended family members and friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Ted; her daughter, Kim; her sister, Dee; her brother-in-law, Fred George; two nieces, Lori Barloiw and Lisa Rieftors; her mother and father-in-law, Edwina and Vernie Hills; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann King, Joyce York and Shirley Wichael; brothers-in-law, Kenny, Marvin and Rick Hills. One nephew, Randy Hills, aunt and uncle, Fay and Gilly Myers, uncle George Crawford, aunt and uncle Arlene and Dale Crawford, aunt and uncle Ruth and Bill Crawford.

Memorial funds can be given to the Boys and Girls Club 100 Year Legacy of SEK in honor of Kim and Kay Hills. Kay was a dog lover all her life with Tippy, Dukey Doll, Buttons, Tuff, Liz, Shannon, Sadie, Megan, Annie and Ginger. Memorials can be given to the Coffeyville Friends of Animals in honor of Kay Hills; memorial contributions can be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.

Friends may call on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at David W. Barnes Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to sign the guest register; family will be present at the funeral home on Thursday evening to greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

David Eugene Fox, 65, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

David was born on June 30, 1960, in Coffeyville to Robert Eugene Fox and Karleen Sue (Jones) Woollard. He grew up in Coffeyville where he attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindley High School.

He was united in marriage to Kerry Goodman, from their union two children were born, Kelly and Kevin. The couple later divorced.

David met and married Roberta Caron, she had two daughters, Bobbi and Denise. They later divorced but remained friends.

David's hobbies included fishing, beekeeping, being outdoors and living off the land. He loved his cats and his bees, but most of all he loved the time he spent with his family.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Kelly Fox of Coffeyville, Kevin Fox and wife, Kaitlyn of Vinita, Oklahoma; stepdaughters, Bobbi Hanna and Denise Judd; grandchildren, Tayshawn, Kianna, Isaiah and Noah Brown, Zavion Chavez, Jadyn, Hunter, Kaylor, Bowan and Tatum Fox; brother, Dennis Fox; sister, Gina Rutherford-Schille-Hunt and husband, Corey; nephew, Joshua Knisley and wife, Tanner their boys, Traven and Ryal; niece Ashley Fox along with numerous other extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Fox; mother, Karleen Sue Woollard; brothers, Mark Fox, Mike Fox, Christopher Woollard and niece, Brittney Fox.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life Gathering that will take place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Bluff Camp for family and friends to come together to share memories and honor David's life.

Myrtle E. Sitsler, 95, of Coffeyville passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Medicalodge Coffeyville on Midland.

She was born on May 23, 1930, in Washington County, Oklahoma to Elmer and Edith (Stark) Redman. Myrtle grew up and attended rural schools in Washington County.

Myrtle met and married Jack Scott Voris and from that union there were six children born. Later in life Jack and Myrtle were divorced.

Myrtle had a full life working and raising her children. In 1976 she met a wonderful man Andy Sitsler, all of her children liked and approved of him. Myrtle and Andy were married on October 14th, 1976. Andy preceded her in death on January 12, 1987.

Myrtle is survived by 3 of her children, Robert L. Voris and wife Donna of Independence, Kansas, Linda Voris Baughn and husband Don of Chanute, Kansas, and Larry J. Voris and wife Paula of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Voris of North Carolina; twenty-two grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; plus many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren and Myrtle loved each and every one of them.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Edith Redman; her husband Andy Sitsler; her sister Ruth (Redman) Voris of Nowata, Oklahoma, her daughter Elizabeth (Voris) Nipper of Coffeyville, Kansas; two sons Kenneth R. Voris of Coffeyville, Kansas and Jack Scott Voris, Jr. of Alabama; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

Myrtle was a long-time member of Tyro Christian Church and the JOY Group. Myrtle has been characterized as onery, special, and a tough cookie but she loved hard and long her family and friends. She asked Jeus Christ into her heart many years ago and did it whole heartedly. If we know Christ we will see her again. We love you, Mom. Thank you for everything.

A Funeral Service celebrating Myrtle’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11th, 2025, at Tyro Christian Church in Tyro, Kansas with David Bycroft and Allan Swinson officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville.

Pamela Renee Bouknight, 60, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Robert J. Dole V. A. Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on July 22, 1965 in San Bernardino, California, to Bobby Joe and Mary Sue (Collins) Oldham. She was #6 of 7 children. Pamela grew up in Lompoc, California where she graduated from Lompoc Senior High School in 1983. Shortly thereafter in 1984, Pamela enlisted in the US Navy and was stationed in Texas. Pamela would serve proudly for the next 8 years. Eventually Pam would move to the state of Mississippi where she lived for many years. After her mother and several siblings relocated to Coffeyville, KS, Pamela followed suit in the Winter of 2009. For many years, she dedicated herself to her work as Patrol Officer V for Allied Universal at CVR refinery, a role she undertook with great diligence and commitment as her co-workers and superiors would attest.

Pamela was a woman of great energy and spirit. She was involved in competitive athletics beginning in the 6th grade, enjoyed playing softball and was extremely talented, as well as a member of the madrigal singers with an amazing voice. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys which created many laughs and banter between her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. However, what mattered the most to Pamela was her family and her beloved dog Dallas. She was a loyal sister, aunt, cousin and friend, who brought joy and warmth to the lives of those around her. She was a ray of sunshine with her infectious laughter and her heart full of love. Although Pamela would not have children herself, her amazing role as an aunt and great aunt kept her busy, no one was better at that role than her.

Pamela is survived by her siblings Deborah Gaither ( #1) & husband Gary, Robert Oldham ( #4) & wife Olivia, Tracy Jackson ( #5) and Rhonda Sutherland ( #7) & husband Johnny and plenty of Nephews, Nieces, Great Nephews and Nieces, all of which had a close relationship with her. In addition to step-brothers and step-sister Shawna Cron & husband Dennis of Coffeyville. Pamela was that family member that kept in contact with everyone. She had a very special relationship with cousins and other extended family as well including a very special bond with Cousin Steven Reeves. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Oldham and Mary Oldham Lane, her brother Kelly Oldham, and her sister Vicki Ashmore, her Nephews Robbie Day, Justin Oldham and Mickey Oldham and Niece Melissa Day, as well as several brother & sister in-laws and step-parents, including Jack Lane of Coffeyville. Pamela was not just an amazing, daughter, sister and aunt, she was a true friend to many, and her friendships lasted for decades. The family would like to express our appreciation to two very special friends in her life, we call them her chosen sisters. Joyce Snyder of 38 years who met Pamela in Beeville Texas and Jackie Kitterman of 16 years who met Pamela in Coffeyville KS. We thank you for your amazing friendship through thick and thin to the end.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road in Coffeyville.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God, 1504 West 8th Street in Coffeyville with Pastor Randy DePriest officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park with military honors conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1022 and American Legion Post #20.

Following the services, the family would like to invite those close friends and co-workers that knew Pamela well to join us in a celebration at Cedar Bluff Camp, 4707 CR 2475 in Coffeyville from 2-7pm. Pamela had a heart for those in need so we will be collecting donations of blankets, gloves, handwarmers, anything to help the homeless and we will donate them to the Coffeyville Warming Center. Monetary donations are welcome as well. If you would like to join us, please bring a side dish, dessert or drink, this would be appreciated but not a requirement. To keep Pamela's bantering spirit alive, you may wear your Dallas Cowboy or your chosen team attire, jeans welcome. We know Pam would love that!

Linda Kay Childress, 76, of Coffeyville, Kansas, was welcomed into Heaven on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Baptist Village in Owasso, Oklahoma. Viewing will be between 12:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at David W. Barnes Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 4, 2025, at First Southern Baptist Church, with Pastor Matt Friese officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery. Kay was born on Saturday, February 12, 1949, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Russell “Whitey” and Agnes Irene (Connor) Hayes. She attended Field Kindley High School, graduating in 1967. While in high school, she was a member of the Robed Choir and the Tornado Tillies. Kay married Ron Childress on July 8, 1967, at Central Baptist Church in Coffeyville. She graduated from Wichita State University, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She went on to receive a Master’s Degree from Pittsburg State University, majoring in Special Reading. Over the years, she taught at several elementary schools in Coffeyville, Frankfort, Kansas, and Cherryvale, and was a Chapter 1 Reading Specialist, before retiring in 2012, from Coffeyville Public Schools.

Kay was a member of both the Delaware and Cherokee Tribe of Indians and was a member of the VFW Ladie’s Auxiliary. She also belonged to the Quilters Guild and spent countless hours making quilts to gift to family members for weddings and births. She and Ron, loved to travel, go on cruises, spend time with friends and relatives, and traveled many, many weekends to Branson, Missouri. She especially loved going to Branson during Christmas, where she enjoyed seeing the town “lit up”. She had a passion for George Strait. She enjoyed listening to his music and seeing him in concert several times.

She was called to serve the Lord in many different capacities. She enjoyed singing in the choir, and teaching Sunday School. She was currently a member of First Southern Baptist Church. Her faith was an integral part of her marriage and a vital part of how she raised her children. She was a faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and colleague to many people.

Kay is survived by: her husband, Ron; children, Preston Childress and Andy Hicks of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Brady Childress and Shawn Howard-Childress of Owasso, Oklahoma, Ronda Cowan and Bob of Tyro, Kansas; grandchildren, Jacob Camp and Infinity Browing of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Haley Moran and Ryan of Caney, Kansas, Tyler Cowan and Abigail of Caney, Kansas, Jillian Childress of Owasso, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Inez and Issa Browning, Gracen and Kynlee Winstead, Castiel, Nadine, Santana, and Willow Moran, Waylon and Bentley Cowan; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Christy and MR Hershey; uncle, Bob Hayes; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Galindo, Martha Alexander, Russell Ralstin, Kenny Dewlen, Missy Pinckney, Tiffany Darnell; Staci Marti, Amy Oyler; many cousins, other family members, and a host of friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Hope Marie Cowan; sister, Lovella Ralstin and her husband, Mervin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emery and Catherine (Brady) Childress; sister-in-law, Janet Pinckney; niece, Helena Purl; nephews, Tommy Pinckney, Micah Hershey; and a host of other family members.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Camp, Tyler Cowan, Bob Cowan, MR Hershey, Phill Helt and Jim Owen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Dewlen, Ryan Moran, Darrell Sommers, Wayne Norton, and Joe Moyer.

Johnie Lee Thompson, 80, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Advena Living of Cherryvale.

He was born on October 15, 1945, at Coffeyville to John and Edna Thompson. Johnie grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School and Coffeyville Community College.

Johnie began his employment in the grocery business managing several Foodtown Stores before purchasing his own store in Independence, Kanas. He moved to Joplin, Missouri where he worked at Famous Barr in the jewelry department. Johnie later moved to Kansas City where he worked at KU Medical Center until he retired and returned to South Coffeyville, Oklahoma.

One of his favorite past times kind of led to a part time job at Chick’s Pool Hall in Coffeyville where he truly enjoyed his customers and playing pool. Johnie loved all sports, going to rodeo’s and listening to music.

Johnie was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation.

He was preceded in death by his son, Cory Thompson; his parents John and Edna Thompson; his brother, Darrell Thompson, and two sisters, Colene Dillon and Carolyn Selcho.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, and other extended family members.

Following Johnie’s wishes cremation was taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. There are no services planned at this time, his family will have a celebration of Johnie’s life at a later date.

Phyllis A. Griffith, 90, of Coffeyville, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Medicalodges Coffeyville on Midland.

She was born on March 3, 1935, near Angola, Kansas, at her family home. She attended rural schools in the Angola area and graduated from Labette County High School in Altamont, Kansas.

Phyllis was a beloved figure in her community and among family, well-known for her kindness and love for all creatures big and small. A long-time resident of Coffeyville, Kansas, she was a retired Telephone Operator who served her community tirelessly for many years at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Phyllis was a woman of many talents and interests. She was an accomplished quilter, and her love for animals was evident in the way she cared for her pets, particularly her beloved cats. Feeding birds and caring for stray animals was a regular part of her daily routine. Phyllis was also deeply involved with her church, Tyro Christian Church, where she was an active member of the Joy Group and the Blanket Group.

Phyllis is survived by her brother, Gerald (Daisy) White, her nephews, Greg (Cheryl) White, Ron (Cheryl) White, and Roger (Jilinda) White, numerous great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Griffith, and her parents, Lyman and Naomi White.

Wilfred H. "Red" LaForte, 84, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Oswego Health and Rehabilitation in Oswego, Kansas.

Red was born on March 2, 1941, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Henry Thomas and May Elizabeth (Roberts) LaForte. Red grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School.

On May 23, 1959, he married Emma F. Ross at Independence, Kansas. A proud son of Kansas and America, he was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love for his family was paramount. His service to his country was equally significant, demonstrated by his time in the U.S. Navy, where he served in various locations including Key West, Florida, Kingsville, Texas, Chula Vista, California, Vallejo, California, at the Presidio in San Francisco, California, the Philippines and several other bases before returning his family to Coffeyville in 1977.

Red was a man of many accomplishments, both personally and professionally. He was a proud member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1022 and American Legion Post #20. Red was a dedicated employee of Funk MFG Co. now John Deere Coffeyville Works, where he worked in Research and Development before his retirement. A man of many hobbies, Red enjoyed bowling, having bowled two 300 games, and also found joy in golfing and hunting.

Red is survived by his children Connie (Roger) Pursley and Wilfred (Darla) LaForte, his sister Bea Cox, his grandchildren Melissa (Josh) Elliott, Vaness McWhirt, Shelby (Austin) Pursley, Blaine McWhirt, Wilfred (Nycole McConnell) LaForte III, Jennifer Anderson, and Jessie Batten, and his great-grandchildren Jalissa Elliott, Peyden Elliott, Gabriel Elliott, Kaiden Pursley, Ezra Pursley, Zaina Pursley, Wilfred IV, Christopher LaForte, Macey Anderson, Nala LaForte, Caidence Batten, Rowan Harney, and Robert III. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Mary LaForte, grandson Christopher LaForte, and his siblings Tom LaForte, Jim LaForte, Gordon LaForte, Bill McCullough, Alice Rains, Wilma Wright, Zilla Kastler, Rosalea LaForte, and Sharon C***s.

A Memorial Graveside Service for Red will be held on Saturday, 22 Nov 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Robbins Cemetery, west of Coffeyville. Military Honors will be conducted by V.F.W. Post #1022 and American Legion Post #20.

Ruth Ann Jensen, 76, of Independence passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at her home in Independence, Kansas. Ruth was known for her tireless work ethic, her passion for her hobbies, and above all, her unwavering love for her family and her dogs.

She was born on August 6, 1949, in Thomas, Oklahoma, to Rev. Harold O. and Arlene (Brown) Jensen. Ruth graduated from Labette County Community High School and later returned to college graduating from Coffeyville Community College.

Ruth worked diligently at Dixon Industries and later at Cessna Aircraft in Independence, until retiring after a long and fulfilling career. She was also a dedicated member at her church Grace Memorial United Methodist Church in Independence, where she devotedly served as a secretary for several years and proudly sang in the church choir. Ruth's hobbies were as diverse as her talents, ranging from sewing, golfing, bowling, canoeing, reading, knitting, and crocheting. She was a lifetime member of both the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, demonstrating her commitment to service in her community.

Ruth is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Dee Hugo and her husband Dwight; her sons Troy Reister and his wife Kris, Tracy Reister; her sister, Lois Jensen; her brother, James Jensen; her grandchildren, Megan Sigmon and her husband Brandon, Skye Bilby, Briana Braman and her husband Nick, Jete Littell, Jazze Vail and her husband Dalton, Jailee Reister, Dani Reister, Kassie Reister, Kevin Reister, and Karley Reister; and her 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Jensen, her mother, Arlene Jensen, and her brother, Gary Jensen.

Following Ruth’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. A memorial service celebrating Ruth's life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial United Methodist Church, located at 109 South 13th Street in Independence with Pastor Randy Beeman officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Ruth memory to Grace Memorial United Methodist Church; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.

Ronald “Ron” Lee Shadwick, age 78, of rural Dearing, Kansas passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025. Ron was a man who cherished life's simplicities and found joy in places most overlooked. He held an unwavering love for his family, his farm, and the quiet serenity of nature around him. Ron walked the earth with a humble heart, yet his life was anything but ordinary.

Ron was born on July 28, 1947, in Neosho, Missouri to Silver Lee and Ernestine Imogene (Kraft) Shadwick. He grew up in Neosho where he attended local schools and earned his high school diploma. Ron furthered his education at Crowder College and Missouri Southern where he earned his bachelor's degree in business accounting.

On August 2, 1968, he married the love of his life, Linda Jodean “Jody” Andrews in Joplin, Missouri. The couple made their home in rural Coffeyville, Kansas where they raised their three children, Melissa, Jeremy and Joshua. Ron was a man of great moral fortitude who taught his children valuable life lessons and instilled in them strong moral values.

In 1976, Ron began working at Parmac, where he eventually retired as a Controller in 2020. Despite the hustle and bustle of his professional life, Ron never lost sight of the things that mattered most to him. He was a cattleman, rancher, and farmer, roles he took on with immense dedication and pride. His love for animals was pure, especially his cows, which he loved dearly. His hobbies also included traveling, going on cruises, fishing, and spending time at the lake. Ron was a man of many tastes, always eager to try new cuisines and indulge in novel experiences. He was a quiet jokester, often lighting up a room with his infectious laughter and sense of humor.

Ron leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by his wife, Linda “Jody” Shadwick of the home; children, Melissa Shadwick Stewart, Jeremy (Megan) Shadwick, Joshua (Kristen) Shadwick; five grandchildren and one grandchild on the way; siblings, Reg Shadwick and wife, Cathy, LeAnn Shadwick Parkison along with numerous extended family members and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Silver and Imogene Shadwick.

Following Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
