We want to express a big heartfelt thank you to the Veterans from the Colby VFW Post 2227, Kent Schilling, Cindy Knight, Howie Frane, Skip Klabon and Pat Mateer for not only coming to our facility and helping us honor our residents who have served in the military, but for their courageous dedication and services to our country.

To every Veteran that has served in the military and fought for our freedom, our gratitude is unending because of your service, the word "freedom" is more than a dream - it’s our daily reality.

Activity Director Cindy created a peep diorama to enter into the Colby Community Library. She used the theme Christmas is "Peeping" around the corner. Make sure you stop at the library and vote for her diorama between Dec. 1-12! Great job Cindy!❄

Happy retirement Brenda! She was our MDS Coordinator for six years and will be dearly missed by the residents and staff.

We enjoyed a beautiful fall ride before the trees lost all their leaves! Residents absolutely loved going for a little drive to see the colors. 🍂

Residents had a spooktacular time passing out candy to all of our trick-or-treaters. We want to thank everyone who stopped by to get candy and make our residents' day! 🎃👻🍬

The Central Fire & EMS District and Owen-Withee-Curtiss Fire and EMS District Commission visited our center to perform a community disaster drill.

They went through and evacuated empty rooms just as they would in the event of a real fire. After the drill was completed, they enjoyed slushies and snacks with members of our management team. Residents loved seeing the firefighters operate the ladder trucks! 🪜

We want to express our gratitude to all of the firefighters and EMTs for everything they do for our community! They are true heroes! 👨‍🚒🚑❤️‍🩹

October is National Adopt a Dog Month! Director of Nursing Kristen brought her dog Elly to visit and brought lots of smiles to the residents. ♥🐾🐶
