Anxiety isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like:
– overthinking a simple text
– replaying conversations
– needing reassurance but not feeling satisfied by it
– a constant low hum of “what if I missed something?”
From the outside, you might seem fine.
From the inside, your nervous system is working overtime.
In my work with adults struggling with anxiety, I see this all the time:
not a lack of coping skills, but a nervous system stuck in threat mode.
And the goal isn’t to “stop anxiety completely.”
It’s to help your system learn:
not everything urgent is dangerous.
That shift changes everything.
