As this article explains there is always a chance type 1 diabetes can be cured, BUT the trials are so difficult. There never is enough money.
I have been managing type 1 diabetes for 43 years.
Thanks to new technology the out of control sugars became controlled with insulin pumps. I started with them in 1984. Dr Paul Davison was my doctor in Atlanta,Georgia, while I was in Chiropractic college. His intern was Dr Bruce Bode. They educated me and saved me. God bless to them both.
The now newest pump that I use is TANDEM T:slim X2 insulin pump with Control-IQ technology.

Our office is looking for a new LMT to join our wellness team starting as soon as possible. We are a well-established, busy Chiropractic office located in the center of Colchester. Applicants must be licensed in the state of Connecticut and capable with computers and comfortable with detailed SOAP Notes. Myofascial and neuromusculoskelatal techniques are mandatory, other specialty training or experience is a plus that can be implemented. This position is 2-3 days per week.
