One decision we discuss during breast augmentation consultations is implant placement.

When implants are placed under the pectoralis muscle (submuscular placement), the muscle can push down on the implant every time it flexes. Over time, this repeated pressure can contribute to a "double bubble" deformity, where you see an unnatural contour or separation between the breast tissue and implant.

Every patient is different, and placement depends on your anatomy, tissue quality, and aesthetic goals. During your consultation, we'll discuss which approach gives you the best long-term outcome. 💙
