Yoga is more than movement.
The practice of Yoga, outside of asana (physical movement practices), invite us into connection with the world and Nature around us.
Connection to people, animals, plants, insects, trees, grasses, soil and so much more.
In the 8 limbs of Yoga, Patanjali documents how we live is important in order for us to get connected to the Divine.
We canβt pray our way out of injustice, we need to act.
We canβt do yoga postures to get over our challenges, we need to act.
We canβt leave the issues of our time for someone else, we need to act.
AND we have the power to do so.
The Yamas and Niyamas are the ethical practices of Yoga.
(And you might be doing them even without knowing it)
Join us for this 10 week series as we explore the practical and timeless concepts of Yogaβs Ethics.
I canβt wait to dive into these with you.
Yours in Yoga,
Laura
