This past weekend’s Christmas celebration with our residents and their families was truly heartwarming! The atmosphere was filled with joyful music, happy conversations, and countless smiles. Everyone loved decorating cookies, enjoying the hot chocolate bar, seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus, and creating special moments together! We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and made the day so bright. From all of us here at Benedictine Living Community - Cold Spring, we wish all of you a warm, joyful, and very Merry Christmas! ❤️

Our Memory Care residents at Asher Haus kicked off the season with joyful Christmas crafts — laughter, creativity, and lots of glue included! 🎨🖌️❤️
Meanwhile, over in Skilled Nursing, our residents enjoyed a hilarious and heartwarming game of “I Trust My Residents” — and trust us, the smiles were contagious! 😄🤝
We love seeing everyone enjoy moments of connection, creativity, and FUN.

Snow is here—and so is Advent, said Rev. Scott Cartwright, Benedictine director of spiritual care, as he reflected on the season of Advent. Just as Minnesota snow is inevitable, so is the season of Advent, a time to embrace hope, peace, joy, and love. From Nov. 30 to Dec. 24, Christians reflect on Jesus’ coming and look forward with anticipation to his return. At Benedictine, we live these themes daily—through hopeful waiting, courageous peace-making, resilient joy, and self-giving love.
