🌼 Honoring Our Loved Ones 🌼
This time of year, as the seasons change, many cultures and faith traditions take time to remember and honor those who have passed.
This year, our Spiritual Care Director helped residents honor their deceased loved ones in a new and meaningful way—by building an ofrenda outside our Chapel.
“Ofrenda” is a Spanish word meaning offering. Families and communities celebrating Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) create colorful altars to welcome and honor their loved ones who have passed. These altars are often decorated with bright colors, candles, marigold flowers, and photos of loved ones.
Día de los Mu***os is celebrated on November 2, the same day that Catholics celebrate All Souls Day—a time to pray for and remember all souls who have gone before us.
🕯️ May this season of remembrance bring peace, love, and connection to all.

🎃👻 Halloween Fun Recap! 👻🎃

Yesterday we had an amazing Halloween celebration filled with fun, laughter, and of course — plenty of candy! 🍬✨ Our residents had a blast dressing up in creative costumes and handing out treats to some adorable trick-or-treaters.

We hope everyone had a spook-tacular Halloween full of joy, sweet treats, and great memories! 💜🕸️
