We provide comprehensive eye examinations and eye health assessments for all ages to help you mainta Dr. Femrite opened LAKES Eye Clinic in May 2006.

Dr. Femrite, originally from Cold Spring, returned to central Minnesota in 2001 following a completed eye care residency in Minneapolis. Since, the clinic has expanded both staff and services to meet the needs of central MN. We continually add new optometric equipment to meet current standards of care and "shop" the optical world to bring you the most up to date optical selections available. Recently we attended International Vision Expo West in Las Vegas to expand our knowledge to serve you better! We have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease including dry eye, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and glaucoma. In addition, we offer surgical comanagement of LASIK and cataract surgery and urgent care services. At LAKES Eye Clinic we provide an array of eye care services including:
Children eye exams
Adult eye exams
Complete optical frame line
Eyewear accessories
Utilize many lens materials, designs, and treatment
Contact lens fitting
Diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases
Red eye management
Removal of foreign bodies in the eye
