Suicidal ideation (SI), often called suicidal thoughts, describe a range of contemplations, wishes, and preoccupations with death and su***de.

Su***de is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States and the second leading cause of death among
10- to 34-year-olds.

Women attempt su***de more often than men, but men are successful about three to four times more than women.

Studies show that if you can talk to someone regularly, particularly a close friend or counsellor, you’re less likely to attempt su***de.

You can also talk to a therapist,a support group, your GP, community mental health services or The Samaritans (UK) therapist if vou have suicidal thoughts or if you are affected by this post.
