We’ve been busy celebrating 4 birthdays this month, all four residents chose chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.
Lorena Hoofer wasn’t sure what she wanted for entree, she said what was planned was fine, her children; Larry and Rita Case joined us for lunch.
Donna Rush chose fried chicken and the fixings, Al Martens birthday was the same day, his family chose the dessert.
Ben Prue chose Hamburgers and fries for today’s lunch.

We had some very special visitors yesterday! Kindergarten and 1st graders joined us for an Easter egg hunt while our residents enjoyed watching. The kiddos picked out prizes, enjoyed cookies and drinks and filled our building with smiles. 🐣🌷

A few photos of the new wall decor, it’s taken longer than I anticipated. And we have several more walls to fill. I am continuing to look through local photos that were sent to me as time allows. Danny Bruckner purchased different software so he can work with pictures and create better quality canvas.

This week, for National Long Term Care Administrators Week, we celebrate someone truly special. For over 20 years, Diana has been the heart and backbone of Pioneer Lodge. Through challenges like COVID and countless other trials, she’s led with strength, care and pride. She makes work fun, shows she genuinely cares about every employee, and always puts our residents first.

Thank you for your dedication, your guidance, and the heart you pour into this facility every day. Pioneer Lodge is stronger because of you- we appreciate you more the words can say!

On Friday, I celebrated the employees for national employee recognition day,  i’m blessed to have a wonderful team here at PL.

Celebrating National Tortilla Chip Day the right way — pairing with homemade salsa and warm, cheesy queso! We had fun learning the history of tortilla chips!
