A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Fall Legal Update yesterday! We had a fantastic turnout and an incredibly informative session.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Berke, Esq., Director of Legal Education, for sharing her expertise and insight with our REALTORS®. Becky covered a wide range of important topics, including: Title Theft, Real Estate Advertising, Earnest Money Deposits, Open House Best Practices, Commissions (Post-Settlement), Promotions (What to Do and What Not to Do), Seller Disclosure (From the Buyer’s Perspective), and Closing Responsibilities for Agents (After the PA Is Signed).

The Branch County Association of Realtors® was invited to take part in a discussion yesterday with Congressman Tim Walberg, focused on educating Realtors® in the district about the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and sharing feedback on real estate activity in Michigan’s Fifth District. BCAR President John Rakocy - Realtor at Hauska Home & Farm and Association Executive Sheila Winfrey attended on behalf of BCAR, contributing valuable insights to the conversation. A special thank-you to Melissa Tee and the Jackson Area Association of Realtors® for graciously hosting this informative and engaging meeting.
