Yesterday we packed our shoeboxes for "Samaritan's Purse". Our residents have worked so hard collecting items and making items the whole year in preparation for this day. They even added pictures and hand written letters to each box as they packed. Special thanks to everyone who came and helped make this happen.

A late post of our "witch races" from last week. We have some pretty quick witches around here at GSCC and lots of laughs were shared. Armilda Eckhoff ended up our big winner.

Wow! The Halloween spirit was strong in our home today!! Check out these amazing costumes! We grazed on even more yummy snacks and then sat back and listened to C**t n Rachel sing for us. After supper we'll be ready to hand out candy so come see us from 5:30 to 7!! Happy Halloween!

Those Vansels really out do themselves!!! Sonny was the star of the show as a vampire. They spoiled our employees with some bloody libations, a witchy sweet treat, a Halloween pen, and a lucky owl. We are blessed with the best families!!

This morning we celebrated with a Spooky Snack Food Contest judged by our residents. Thank you to everyone that made spooky creations! The winner was Jackie with her Pinhead creation!

Today several of our employees and their children and grandchildren brought in painted pumpkins for our residents and employees to judge. We have some very creative and talented artists among us.
