Jo Ann led the residents in making porch pots to grace the entrance of The Embers! Everyone absolutely loved this experience, and we get to enjoy them for weeks to come.

Spread the love this Christmas by participating in the “Tree of Love”. Residents of both Park View Haven and The Embers have made ornaments for you to pick from our tree at Security Bank in Coleridge, along with a list of items they would like for Christmas. Please return these gifts, with their list attached to Security Bank by Friday, December 19th. The residents will open their gifts Christmas Morning! Thank you for sharing the love this Christmas. We need to find new homes for some of our books! Come to The Embers this Thursday or Friday to see our selection. Stock up on books for the winter for a free will donation! Proceeds will go towards our activities fund.

We made one of our own residents' recipes for Strawberry Rhubarb jam last week! Everyone has been enjoying it greatly since. Thanks, Marilyn, for the great recipe!

We started off by thinking we would decorate these candle holders for fall, but the decision to bring on the Christmas decor was unanimous! It was such a fun day getting creative!

We had the absolute pleasure of the Cedar County Piecemakers sharing their works of art with us at The Embers! Their talents are phenomenal! We even had a special quilt shared created by one of our resident's mothers featuring hand embroidered blocks of the (then) 48 states of America.
