A lot of us with livestock are feeling a little stressed, grumpy, irritable today, and probably for the next couple days.

So let's share some positives. I want to hear your PTL's (Praise The Lord) this morning as a reminder that life can get rough but God is still looking out for us!

My PTL:
-house is cozy & warm
-horses are fed, watered, blanketed, & comfortable
-slow morning drinking coffee while my little guy plays

Yesterday morning Devan and Sam suffered a devastating loss, their entire barn and arena was lost to fire in a matter of minutes. Devan, Sam, the pups and the big boys are safe however they lost 4 minis and their barn cat Julius. The barn and everything in it is a total loss - feed, essentials to care for the remaining 5 horses, tools, tractor , tack - riding and driving - and much, much more. Insurance will help them rebuild but that will take time. Right now they need support from their community. If you have any questions please reach out to Devan, Sam or myself. Things they need -

- 5 Draft halters and lead ropes
- Water Buckets
- Grain
- Hay round and square bales
- Hoses
- Water troughs
- Gut x and osteo max
- Extension cords for water heaters
- Grain scoops
- Blankets for 5, all weights, size 96”
- Brushes and the daily care needs
- Vet supplies

If there is anything you have that isn’t listed that you are willing to spare I’m sure they would be extremely grateful!

The greatest gift you can give your horse is an able body for a long life. SM THIS is my focus for you and your horse. It started out as my focus for Goose and then I started helping others. This is also the cover to my 2026 calendar. It makes me happy every time I see it.

PS I design, personalize, print, and bind my own calendars, doodle pads, daily writing journals, kitchen calendars. I've been toying with making horsey journals too....
