Meet Elizabeth!✨

Elizabeth was born and raised in Texas and has always been passionate about helping people live active, meaningful lives. She began her career in nursing after earning her BSN from The University of Texas at Austin, spending 15+ years in clinical and community health focused on education and wellness.

Inspired by the powerful connection between movement and overall health, she went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Baylor University.

Elizabeth believes physical therapy should be collaborative, evidence-based, and performance-focused — helping active individuals move efficiently, build strength, and confidently return to what they love.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling, cooking, gardening, and cheering on her two athlete kids alongside her husband, Bryan.

Next time you’re in the clinic make sure to welcome her to the CSPT team!👏🏻

Ask a PT👏🏻

This week we decided to ask a non PT related question🫣

What would be your answer?

📣 Meet Avery!

If you’ve had an appointment lately, you may have already met our newest Client Coordinator, Avery Fossum👋

Avery was raised in Salado Texas, where she played soccer, ran track and cross country, and showed pigs, goats, and rabbits. She grew up with a large family and has always been very competitive and stubborn. Her passion for sports led to her going to earn her bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M, graduating in December 2025.

When she’s not working she is at CrossFit, hunting, or coaching on the side. She loves to be outside and has a heart for exploring and helping others.

✨ Next time you’re in, make sure to say hi and welcome her to the CSPT family!

✨MOVE BETTER MONDAY✨

No matter your age or stage of fitness, it’s important to train upper body pulling.💪🏻

If pull-ups aren’t in your wheelhouse (yet) consider other ways of strengthening this movement pattern.

Options include:
✅ Band-assisted pull-ups
✅ TR rows
✅ Bent over rows, and more!

This helps increase the strength of your grip, shoulders, lats, and core.😎

Have fun mixing up your progressions as you work toward your goals!🥳
