Anipro Xtraformance Nutrition is a division of XF Enterprises, Inc., headquartered in College Station, Texas. began business in 1960 as Xtra Factors, a trace mineral supplement company based in Pennsylvania. During the mid 1970's the company's focus was directed at the emerging feedyard business in the Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. With the move of feedyard concentration from the corn belt into this area, an opportunity developed to begin nutritional consulting and Nutrition Service Associates (NSA) was created to fill this opportunity. NSA now services over 140 feedyards, controlling approximately 15% of the cattle fattened in the United States. Ownership of XF Enterprises changed in 1985 and sales and marketing were added to the company's business base to compliment the feedyard consulting. Anipro Xtraformance Nutrition was created in 1990 from the vision of the company president to develop a dealer marketed, full-service line of liquid supplements. The original emphasis was in developing products to support the range cattle business in Montana and Canada. This business rapidly grew to include the Pacific Northwest, California and the Texas and New Mexico area. In 2000, it was decided that additional products to support and compliment the liquid line were necessary so that a greater range of customers could be serviced. A full line of weatherized range minerals were developed and incorporated into the dealer product line. Later, tubs and blocks were added to complete the line of "self fed supplement" products. Today, Anipro Xtraformance Nutrition operates in 35 states throughout the United States.
