Bc sometimes they just don’t wanna touch it 🙂↕️
But if we give them a “handle” to hold or a dry spot to grab, it can make all the difference!! It lowers the pressure, supports self-feeding, and makes new foods way more fun to explore
If your toddler refuses before touching, throws slippery foods, or doesn’t like getting sauces on their hands - def try this out!!!
You can try sticking a popsicle stick in fruit or veggies, chip clip on a taco or quesadilla or grilled cheese, wrapping wet/slimy foods in a paper towel, or using fun food picks as forks
When toddlers can actually grip their food, they feel more confident + comfy trying it
