We’re looking forward to being part of Relay For Life this Saturday, April 18 💜

Our team at Brazos Valley Cancer Center will have a tent set up again this year, and we’re excited to spend the evening alongside our community. Last year was such a meaningful experience, and we’re honored to be back.

Relay For Life is a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience, and hope that surrounds every cancer journey. We especially look forward to celebrating the incredible survivors who inspire us every day.

At Brazos Valley Cancer Center, our Advanced Practice Providers are an essential part of the care our patients receive every day.

Ellain, Pam, and Kacie work closely alongside our physicians to help guide patients through every step of their journey. From explaining new diagnoses and answering questions, to managing symptoms and ensuring patients are seen quickly when issues arise, they play a critical role in delivering timely, patient-centered care.

Our APPs also lead chemotherapy teaching appointments, helping patients and families feel informed and prepared, while providing ongoing education and support throughout treatment.

Their compassion, knowledge, and accessibility make a meaningful difference for both our patients and our team—and we’re grateful for the care they provide each day.

We’re grateful for thoughtful community partners. Thank you to Hospice Brazos Valley, Accel at College Station, Parc at Traditions, HomeSpark, and Interim HealthCare of TX & NM for treating our team at Brazos Valley Cancer Center to a coffee truck to start the day.

We’re thankful to work alongside organizations so dedicated to supporting individuals and families in our community. We appreciate all that you do. 💙

Thanks to one of our wonderful patients and her husband, the view from our infusion room looked a little different today - there were roosters, pigs, and even a skunk or two.

The roosters seem to be a favorite… we’re not saying they’re permanent, but they’ve definitely made an impression.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a time to bring awareness and significantly reduce the impact of this disease. At the Brazos Valley Cancer Center, we are deeply committed to leading the charge in prevention, early detection and advanced treatment for colorectal cancer.
