Part two of how we now get your child’s teeth numb more comfortably.

1. We use a needle that is much sharper than a conventional needle. Sharper is more comfortable than dull or rough.

2. The, what everyone calls “Novocaine” gets deposited much slower. Slower is a lot more comfortable than fast because the quicker something is injected into a person, the liquid pushes more on the tissues that is is being deposited in and creates more pressure which is uncomfortable. This instrument deposits the “Novocaine” drop by drop, which makes it much more comfortable.

A better and more comfortable way to numb our patients teeth who are 12 years old and younger.

1. Topical anesthetic, the numbing jelly is no longer needed.
2. Only the teeth and the gum around the teeth are numb. No more fat and numb feeling lips, cheeks and tongues. Also no more bit cheeks and lips after the appointment, and most can eat without any restrictions immediately after their appointment.
3. The tooth gets numb immediately. No more waiting around for the tooth to fall asleep. Shorter appointments for your child so they can get back to school and you can get back to work sooner and get on with the rest of your day.
4. We now can get your child’s tooth numb while using much less what everyone calls “Novocaine”
5. For many of our patients we can reduce the amount of appointments need to fix their cavities when there is more than one cavity.
