1️⃣Rashes
They often look dramatic , but most aren’t emergencies.
The key question: Is your child acting well?
If they’re playful, hydrated, and comfortable, that’s reassuring. Always reach out if something feels off.
2️⃣Changes in Baby P**p 💩
Babies don’t have to p**p every day. In early months, immature gut motility means their digestive system is still learning to coordinate , so skipping days can be normal. Green, yellow, or orange stools? Usually fine.
Call if there’s vomiting, belly swelling, blood in stool, hard pellets, or significant discomfort.
3️⃣Bedwetting
Can be normal up to age 9–10.
More concerning: daytime accidents, constipation, or restarting after months of dryness. Most kids outgrow it , no shame, no blame.
4️⃣Picky Eating 🍽️
Toddlers are wildly inconsistent.
Some days they eat everything. Other days they survive on one bite of corn and ✨vibes✨.
If growth is normal, this is usually developmental. If not growing well — that’s different.

5️⃣Big Lymph Nodes
That neck bump after a cold? Often a reactive lymph node doing its job. They can stay enlarged for weeks.
Call if it’s rapidly growing, very painful/red, hard and fixed, or comes with persistent fevers or weight loss.

🧩Bottom line:
In pediatrics, we treat the child , not just the symptom.
If your child is acting well, that’s often the most reassuring sign.
And if your gut says something isn’t right? Call. Always.
