Our Story
My own personal health and fitness journey began in 2007. I started by looking into nutrition and eating whole foods my senior year in college when I finally got to a breaking point with my stomach issues. Over the last several years I have slowly eliminated specific foods from my diet as I figured out what foods irritate my body and cause unwanted inflammation. When I moved to Memphis in July 2012 I joined a Crossfit gym in and never looked back. It introduced me to a new kind of exercise that has completely changed my everyday lifestyle. As a woman I felt extremely empowered. I became physically and mentally stronger, gained self confidence, and learned how to do things I never thought possible in and outside of the gym.
I want to share my experience and knowledge with everyone I can. No matter where you are now, physically and mentally, you should never be afraid to be a beginner. Everyone has to start somewhere. Do not put your health off "until tomorrow" because it will never happen. Take the dive and invest in YOU. Just like so many things in our lives, we choose what takes priority and usually we, ourselves, suffer due to those choices. Everyone has one hour at least 2 to 3 times a week, that they can invest in their own health and wellbeing.
