Be sure to wish Havannah a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY when you come into the clinic this week. We only have a couple of weeks left with her before she moves on to her next adventure, but we are so blessed by her presence each day she is in the clinic.

Is walking enough exercise to help arthritis?
And if you ask about swimming or yoga, our answer would be the same.

It's a great starting point to improve mobility but it's not a long term solution. It is not going to change what is happening in the joint or how the joint is working within the whole system (body).

Nagging hip and back pain were keeping Becky from her favorite things - grandkids, bible study, cooking.

Her hips needed a muscle reset and had to relearn how to turn on properly to support her movement. She regained both strength and mobility as her pain diminished.

She is back on the floor with her grandkids and standing for long periods while cooking at her church. She is even working out weekly through our Peak Potential Wellness program to build muscle. This will prevent future mobility issues and give her the best chance of this problem not coming back.

Miss Marj came to physical therapy after a knee injury that made it difficult to do any activities that required her to squat or bend her knee. Dr. Lauren worked with her on her knee mobility, decreased pain and improved strength and stability.

She is now able to sit for extended time in her choir seat and get up and down as needed without any pain. No more pain!

A little back to basics.

There are new health advances happening every single day. New medications, hormone replacement strategies, and even holistic support. However, we have to include the basic wellness principles to get the most out of any of these interventions.

So don't forget ...
1️⃣ Make a point to move more throughout your day.
2️⃣ Prioritize getting 7-9 hours of sleep each night.
3️⃣ Eat adequate protein at every meal.
4️⃣ Drink water, ideally half your body weight in ounces each day.
5️⃣ Take time to stop, breathe, and be grateful.
