What an incredible resource! A fleet of volunteer pilots committed to providing free transportation to LGBTQI+ individuals needing to access reproductive medicine or gender affirming care.

We connect passengers to volunteer pilots for travel at no cost to access the healthcare they need.

A little Friday humor.

I promise I have a better poker face than David! Though honestly sometimes a genuine and human reaction is just what is needed in the therapy room. It’s important to know when a little emotional distance is needed. And when a more humanistic touch will be most helpful.

Therapy is not apolitical. Being a therapist requires us to support autonomy and personal choice which are cornerstones of mental wellness. As a mental health professional I proudly support everyone’s right to make choices about their own body.

I am so excited to be taking part in this upcoming training to begin the process of becoming a certified EMDR provider. And better yet, to have discovered a training specifically tailored toward working with my fellow members of the LGBTQI+ community.

As a group, LGBTQI+ are exposed to more trauma and adversity than their heteros*xual and cisgender counterparts. It is so important that we find ways to support one another and find creative and effective ways to help us heal from these adverse events.

Looking forward to adding this important treatment modality to my business in the future! Stay tuned.
