C&C Drugs is deeply saddened to share the passing of our friend and pharmacist, John Powell, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12th.

For the past decade, John faithfully served the Collins community with exceptional professionalism, integrity, and compassion. His dedication to his patients, his colleagues, and the pharmacy profession set a lasting example of what true service looks like. Beyond his role as a pharmacist, John was a trusted friend, mentor, and neighbor whose kindness touched countless lives throughout Covington County and beyond.

A celebration of John’s life will be held on Thursday, October 16th. In honor of his life and legacy—and out of respect for his many years of service to C&C Drugs and the pharmacy profession—our store will close at noon on Thursday so that our staff and community may attend and pay tribute to him.

We extend our deepest condolences to John’s family, friends, and the many patients whose lives he touched. His compassion, character, and commitment to serving others will continue to guide and inspire C&C Drugs for years to come.
