Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Evergreen Baptist Church in Seminary for Frank Allen Suchy, Jr., 70 of Collins, who passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
Brother Matt Temple and Brother Chad Cummins will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary. Special music will be provided by Susan and Ricky Deen. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Frank better known as "Boots" to all his family and friends lived his life for his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He loved working on his farm tending to his cows and tinkering on his antique truck and engines. Boots made everybody feel like they were part of the family because his and Gayles house was the place where they all wanted to hang out. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all who knew him and he will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank A Suchy, Sr. and Frances Geter Suchy.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-two years, Regina Gayle Harvey Suchy of Collins; one son, Joey Suchy (April) of Wesson; two daughters, Misty Suchy Parker (Mark) of Magee and Wendi Suchy of Collins; one sister, Kathy Suchy Richards (Don) of Blackville, SC; fourteen grandchildren, Madi Ogden (Conner) of Magee, Maci Parker (Kris) of Hattiesburg, Marli Parker of Magee, Micah Parker of Magee, Logan Suchy (Chloe) of Smithdale, Carly Suchy, Kylie Suchy, Edie Suchy, Colton Smith, Charleigh Smith, Owyn Smith, Maci Dennis, Willow Dixon and Shiloh Dixon; two great-grandchildren, Amelia Kate Suchy and Karsen Hayes.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Archie Darden Stroud, 73 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at his residence.
Reverend Rory Dill and Reverend Lee Faler will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the McDonald Chapel Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mark Young. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Archie enjoyed hunting, fishing, drag racing in his 1955 Chevrolet and the outdoors mostly in his younger years. When Archie was able get out and work, he could fix anything and was always there for his family. As he got older he enjoyed teaching Sunday School at Williamsburg Baptist Church and spending time with his family, mostly his grandchildren. Archie worked at Miller Transporters Inc. for forty-four years and he always had lots of tales to tell. Even though he couldn't get out to visit due to his health he always made phone calls to check on folks.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gale Hosey Stroud; one son Terry Stroud; his parents Buford D. and Alma Ruth Wade Stroud; and his sister Shelia Stroud Bowman.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-seven years, Anna Molis Stroud of Collins; two sons, Jyntre Stroud (Cathy) of Collins and Daniel Salinas (Coco) of Kemah, Texas; two daughters, Michelle Stroud Jordan of Collins, and Suzanna Salinas of Collins; one brother, Byron Stroud (Fran) of Elton, Louisiana; ten grandchildren, Malachi Jordan, James Jordan, Shane Burke, Trevor Stroud, Chasity Blackwell, Kimber Almond, Noah Salinas, Elaina Salinas, Scarlette Salinas, and Anamaria Salinas; and a host of great-grandchildren and other family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Billy M. King Funeral Home in Collins for Jimmy Glen Smith, 76, of Collins, who passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Williamsburg Methodist Church Cemetery in Collins. Dec Jordan Johnson will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Jimmy worked as a finance manager for many years after serving in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing or any other outdoor activity. In an effort for family harmony, his favorite college sports team will go unnamed. He loved his family and they him. Jimmy will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Belinda, Son, Jamie G Smith; Father, Brooks Smith of Mount Olive, MS; Mother, Katherine Wright Smith of Mount Olive, MS; Nephew, David Smith of Collins, MS.

Jack was born on September 24, 1940, in Seminary, Mississippi, to Harrison and Winnie Jones Crosby. He was a graduate of Seminary High School. Jack worked for New Orleans Furniture Company as a truck driver for twenty years before going to work for Delco-Remy as their shipping clerk for twenty-four years before his retirement. He proudly served in the National Guard for four years. Jack served as a member of the Seminary Board of Aldermen for twelve years; He was a member of the Seminary Baptist Church. Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Winnie Jones Crosby; three brothers, Aaron Crosby, Hershel Crosby and Harry Crosby; and two sisters, Mollie Crosby Bullock and Margaret Crosby.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Polk loved to cook and bake for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by them all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Willard Polk; her mother, Pearl Graves Casteel; and one brother, Frankie Casteel.

Harold Raymond “Puff” Aultman Jr., 55 of Seminary, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Singing River Hospital of Ocean Springs, with his family by his side.
Puff was born on February 13, 1970, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Dianne Addington Robinson and Harold Raymond Aultman, Sr. He graduated from Seminary High School Class of 1988 and then attended Jones County Junior College in Ellisville. Puff worked for numerous dealerships in the Pine Belt area during his career, he had extensive knowledge and handling of finance and insurance. Since September 2022, he was responsible for payroll and billing for Harold Trucking, Inc. in Seminary. He was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of Seminary Baptist Church in Seminary. Puff loved sports, trivia, 80’s music, and his hometown of Seminary. His smile and laugh were contagious and would fill a room. One of his greatest accomplishments were being a dad and “pawpaw.” He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elna Rae Brewer and McDonald “Mack” Fairchild of Seminary and Nona Loveless and Coy Aultman of Seminary; and James “Big Speedy” Addington of Covington, Georgia.
Survivors include his daughter and granddaughter, Tiffany Aultman and Coral of Biloxi; his mother and stepfather, Dianne Addington Robinson and Fred Robinson of New Hebron; his father and stepmother, Harold and Shirley Aultman of Seminary.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Pastor Bryan Atwood will officiate at the service beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Henry Lafayette Leonard was born on Wednesday, September 30, 1942, in Mount Olive, Mississippi to Sam Leonard and Carmie Sullivan Leonard. He was a graduate of Mount Olive High School Class of 1960. Henry also attended Jones County Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi. He retired after thirty-two years of service as a cable repair technician for South Central Bell Telephone Company. Henry was an active member of the Mount Olive Methodist Church and has been a member of the Mount Olive Masonic Lodge for sixty-one years. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his golf friends. Henry also enjoyed the Men's Coffee Group from Mount Olive and all the old stories they all shared was a happy time in his life. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Leonard and Carmie Sullivan Leonard.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-years, Judy Mayfield Leonard of Mount Olive; one son, Chris Leonard (Leigh Ann) of Hattiesburg; one daughter, Elizabeth Leonard Powell (the late John Powell) of Brandon; one sister, Betty Leonard Brewer of Mount Olive; one niece, Jane P. Colonel Thomas “Scott” Bateman
(January 30, 1932 – January 17, 2026)

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Eminence Methodist Church in Seminary for Thomas Scott Bateman, 93 of Seminary, who peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his residence after a courageous 14- year battle with myasthenia gravis and Alzheimer’s disease.
Reverend Tommy Robinson and Reverend Rodney Smith will be conducting the services with interment to follow in the Eminence Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary with full military rites at graveside. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Charley Sue Speed. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Colonel Bateman graduated from Mississippi State College in 1953, and was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lt. He became a pilot, with over 12,000 hours of flying time, mainly flying KC-135 refuelers. Stationed across the United States and Japan, including three deployments to Vietnam over his almost 24-year career. His last assignment was at the Pentagon. His numerous awards include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medals, Air Medals, and many other various medals and awards.
After retirement from the USAF, Colonel Bateman became the Director of the Telecommunications department at the University of Southern Mississippi from 1978 through 1987. He led the upgrading of the telephone and computer networks during his tenure.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas Cranford and Scottie Ann Bass Bateman; his stepfather, Cescro Clinton (Bob) Bateman; one sister, Karen Lynn Reynolds; and one grandson, Adam Scott Bateman.
Survivors include his wife of seventy years, Shirley Ann Drew Bateman of Seminary; one daughter, Cheryl Lynn Bateman Ashby (Steve) of Ocean Springs; two sons, Kyle Scott Bateman, MD (Macie) of Dauphin Island, Alabama and Robert Scott Bateman of New Orleans, Louisiana; one sister, Anna Marie Kern (Gary) of Lacombe, Louisiana; a brother-in-law, David Reynolds (Kathi); six grandchildren, Amy Nichole Robinson (Tommy), Holly Beth Bateman, Lauren Beth Cowart, Mari Megan Case (Landon), Brittany MaeAnn Bateman, Kyle Scott Bateman, Jr, (Hannah); great grandchildren, Ashby, Thomas, and Robert Robinson; Alli and Adam Case; Ashlyn Cowart; Evie and Trase Webb; sister, Anna Marie Kern (Gary); brother-in-law David Reynolds (Kathi); and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

(March 17, 1940 – January 16, 2026)

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Bonnie J Bynum, 85 of Collins, who passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her residence.

Brother Randy McCraw and Mr. Brad Smith will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville. Special music will be provided by Mr. Brad Smith. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 18, 2026, and from 8:00 am until service time on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, MS.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Bynum, Cody Bynum, Micah King, Ledrew Smith, Brad Smith, and Carl Bynum. Honorary pallbearers will be David Smith and Elijah Bynum.

Mrs. Bynum was born on March 17, 1940, to Sidney Collins "Chicken" Smith and Addie Mae Rutland Smith. She was a homemaker by trade. Mrs. Bynum was a member of the Or Baptist Church in Collins. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Bynum enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by them all.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Paul Bynum; her parents, Sidney Collins "Chicken" Smith and Addie Mae Rutland Smith; and three brothers, Oscar James Smith, Dewitt Wiley Smith, and Sidney Collins Smith, Jr.

Survivors include her two sons, Paul Terry Bynum (Mary) and Carl Bynum (Regina), both of Seminary; one daughter, Anita Bynum McCraw (Randy) of Mount Olive; one brother, Ledrew Smith (Rebecca) of Collins; seven grandchildren, Jessica Stone (Chris), James Wade McCraw (Carrie), Allison Bynum, Callie Cutway (Louie), Cody Bynum, Clayton Bynum, and Elijah Bynum; eleven great-grandchildren, India Thompson (Chandler), Samuel King (Grace), Micah King, Myah King, Brooklyn Breazeale, Paisley Breazeale, Tristan Hopkins, Ethan Hopkins (Katelyn), Logan Hopkins (Brianna), Oakley Eubanks, and Aiden Blackwell; one great great-grandchild, Keegan Hopkins and two more on the way, Baby Boy Hopkins in February and Baby Girl King in March; and a host of nieces and nephews.
