We want to highlight the hard work this man has put in throughout physical therapy. Phillip came to us in February after suffering a traumatic brain injury. He could not stand from his chair without maximal assistance. He could not get into and out of his car without the assistance of two people. Today, he is able to walk from the parking lot into the clinic with his walker and no assistance. He is standing from his chair independently. He is getting into and out of his car independently. He is also walking up and down steps! He does it all with a smile on his face. We are SO proud and honored to work with you!

We would like to wish our first student to complete a clinical rotation, Liz Smith, a big congratulations on finishing her last rotation! She will be graduating from the PTA program at P&HCC. Liz dedicates 100% of herself to learning in order to help her patients thrive! It has been a pleasure to watch you grow into a phenomenal therapist. We are cheering you on every step of the way!

We are celebrating one year of Flame Physical Therapy this week! What an incredible year. We decided to open this practice to give patients a private physical therapy experience completely centered around their goals. Examples this year have included playing volleyball, soccer, softball, golf, dancing, and weightlifting DURING physical therapy! If a patient has a specific task in mind, we do our best to make it a part of each visit. We feel extremely blessed to see this dream come to life. We know this did not happen by chance, and God is in this story! Thank you to each patient who has walked through our doors. We will be posting tributes to our patients throughout the week in celebration. We are excited to serve this community for years to come!

Saylor is 11 weeks post ACL and meniscus repair. We have been having a blast working on running in order to return to softball! Saylor says her favorite part of physical therapy is playing games. Physical therapy should be fun!

Congratulations to another Flame PT graduate!

Margaret came to Flame with lower back pain that she had been dealing with for 2 years. After completing physical therapy, she is able to stand from her chair and walk more easily. Most importantly, her lower back pain is gone! Margaret enjoyed exercising and playing games during therapy. We wil miss you, Margaret!
