SJCC is in dire need of transfer bath benches, transport chairs with footrests, and wheelchairs with footrests. If you know of anyone with extra medical equipment, please don't hesitate to let them know they can donate to our free medical equipment loan program! Our staff is here to receive donations Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM-4:30 PM.

We could use all kinds of volunteers, including:
- The assistant will demonstrate craft activities, providing repeated verbal cues as necessary, and use patience, keeping in mind that participants may take longer to process language. Rather than doing the project for participants, the assistant may need to provide hand-over-hand assistance so that the participant can complete the project.

- Pass out pieces to each participant

- Help participants make their crafts

- Clean up after the craft is completed

- Place crafts by the sign-out notebook for participants to take home

- Assistant will demonstrate craft activities, providing repeated verbal cues as necessary, and use patience, keeping in mind that participants may take longer to process language. Rather than doing the project for participants, the assistant may need to provide hand-over-hand assistance so that the participant can complete the project.
