Our Story

Colma Cremation and Funeral Services was founded in 1985, with the goal of providing local families with affordable options for cremation and funerals. Over the years, the company has maintained the vision of cost-effective end of life services. The business is family-owned and operated, and the team works hard to keep overhead costs low. These savings are passed onto families in their time of need. Not only does Colma Cremation and Funeral Services provide support for funeral and cremation planning, but they also prioritize healthy grief support. People need more than transportation coordination and event planning. As the family works through the grief of the loss of a loved one, they need support in working through the emotional pain and loss in the situation. Families benefit from the personalized approach for every funeral plan. Some people choose cremation with memorial service, while others want a traditional funeral that incorporates family customs. Burial services, direct cremation, life celebrations, and military honors can be included. If the family desires, they can witness cremation or scatter the ashes at sea as a way to lay their loved ones to rest. Colma Cremation and Funeral Services is a Green America approved business and offers a green burial package upon request. A variety of earth-friendly options are available, such as biodegradable urns and eco-friendly caskets. Other traditional funeral products can be purchased as well: memorial urns, caskets, vaults, and memorials. All products and services are offered at competitive prices, helping families maintain their budget without sacrificing the quality of service. For more than 30 years, these services have been offered throughout the Bay Area, as well as Central Valley and the Sierra Nevada counties. Service areas include San Francisco, Daly City, South San Francisco, Pacifica, San Bruno, and more. To learn about available services, schedule an appointment to talk to a professional funeral and cremation expert at Colma Cremation and Funeral Services. Two offices are available for convenience, including the nearest location at 7747 El Camino Real Colma, CA 94014. Call to schedule a visit to discuss preplanning needs. Or, immediate services are offered as required: (650) 757-1300.
