Dunlop House Resident Spotlight: Lorene đź’ś

Lorene has spent a lifetime sharing knowledge and building connections. A retired school teacher, she has always had a passion for learning and helping others grow.

She is also a proud member of the Sunshine Club (ASA Sorority), where friendship, service, and community have always been close to her heart.

These days, Lorene enjoys the simple pleasures – getting lost in a good book and playing a lively game of bridge with friends. Her love of learning and connection continues to shine, making her a wonderful part of the Dunlop House community.

At 102 years young, Eva is living proof that legends don’t retire, they just get more interesting.

Back in the day, Eva worked as a dietician (helping people make better life choices long before it was trendy). These days? She’s busy making handmade dolls for Dolls on a Mission, sending love and comfort to children overseas. Just a casual global impact moment!

When she’s off duty from changing the world, you’ll find Eva enjoying inspirational love stories, Christian music, and classic old country & western, because good faith, good stories, and good music never go out of style.

We’re so lucky to call Eva part of the Dunlop House family. She is proof that a life filled with purpose, faith, and heart only gets better with time.
