We know that many families across Colorado are feeling the impact of the recent delay in SNAP benefits, and we want you to know that our hearts are with you. No family should ever have to worry about how to put food on the table, and we are deeply sorry that this is a concern right now.
According to the Colorado Department of Education and the Office of the Governor, families who receive SNAP will experience a delay in receiving their November benefits. More information about your benefits can be found on Colorado PEAKโs website.
We have included a list of community resources below to help support you and your family during this time or to share with others who may need a little extra help.
If you are reading this and are in a position to give, local food pantries and assistance programs are gratefully accepting donations of food or funds to support families in our community. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
We have also added a list of these resources to our website and will be updating as needed. Visit frontrangepeds.com/resources-delayed-snap-benefits/ to stay up-to-date!
