Sarah, 31, was raised with a strict domineering father and passive disconnected mother. She can’t remember her mom saying “I love you” more than a handful of times. And she lived in constant fear of her father who had zero control of his emotions or temper.

Sarah has a good job and does well, but every month she overspends. She’ll tell herself she’s on a budget, but when the uncomfortable thoughts and feelings come (especially her fears of ending up alone) she buys to numb.

Then she shames herself.

Her friends have seen her through many awful relationships. Usually with emotionally immature men who were very controlling and who could never fully commit. Like her mother, she did what she witnessed growing up— she tried to fix and change men who showed her over and over again they had no desire to change.

Sarah secretly feels like a failure. She wants someone to see her and get her but in almost every relationship she feels alone. She lives in a trauma body numbing, avoiding, and hoping that one day someone will rescue her from life as she knows it.

She is not yet aware that she is the person she’s been waiting for.

Day 7 | Drumming can be a powerful and transformative experience that engages the body, mind, and spirit. When you play a drum, you create rhythmic patterns and vibrations. The act of drumming can help to synchronize brainwaves, induce a state of relaxation, and promote a sense of unity and connection. The repetitive and meditative nature of drumming can also help to quiet the mind, enhance focus, and promote mindfulness. Drumming has numerous benefits, both physical and emotional. It can help to reduce stress, release tension, and promote a sense of well-being.

In addition to its calming effects, drumming can be energizing and invigorating. It can help to boost energy levels, increase vitality, and promote a sense of empowerment.

Day 6 | The sound of Koshi chimes is gentle, soothing, enchanting, and ethereal, creating a calming and peaceful atmosphere. The gentle melodies can evoke a sense of connection with nature and the elements. Each Koshi chime is tuned to a specific musical scale, such as Air, Fire, Water or Earth, connecting with not only the different elements, but also different emotions, or energies and can be deeply calming and conducive to deep relaxation and inner peace.

Day 5 | The tones and vibrations produced by crystal bowls have a calming and soothing effect on the nervous system and can help individuals enter a meditative state, enhance focus and concentration, and facilitate a deeper connection with their inner selves. Each bowl is typically associated with a specific chakra and the vibrations produced by the bowl can help balance and align the corresponding energy center.
