Dear Friends and Community Partners,
Since 1947, the Cerebral Palsy Association of Colorado Springs (CPACS) has proudly served individuals with disabilities and their families through compassion, advocacy, and community connection. Together, we have built a legacy of inclusion and support that has truly made a difference in our community.
As we approach the end of this year, our Board of Directors is carefully evaluating the future of CPACS.
Despite our tireless efforts to sustain operations, the challenges of recent years have been difficult to overcome.
Like many nonprofits, we have faced challenges that make continuing difficult. However, we still have hope that someone with passion and dedication will step forward to carry this mission into the future. We believe there may be someone out there with the vision and heart to continue this important work — and to lead CPACS into a new chapter of service and hope.
As our Executive Director is retiring, we are seeking a new Executive Director / Client Services Representative — a passionate and visionary leader dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be ready to take on the challenge of revitalizing a long-standing, successful nonprofit that is currently facing the same challenges as many other nonprofits. We are seeking a passionate, driven individual to serve and advocate for our special needs community while helping secure sponsorships and funding to support our mission.
This individual should be willing to dedicate volunteer time, with limited compensation to start, to help rebuild the organization and guide it toward renewed success. They will posses creativity, compassion, and strong skills in client relations, marketing, fundraising, grant writing, event coordination, and strategic planning to help guide the organization. They will also have an unwavering commitment to the disabled community.
Position: $20/hour, 20+ hours per week
Apply by: November 14, 2025
Email resumes to: cpacs@msn.com
If the position is not filled, the Board has made the difficult decision to close the organization at the end of this year.
Thank you for being part of our CPACS family and for helping us make a difference for so many through the years.
With heartfelt gratitude and hope,
The Board of Directors of Cerebral Palsy Association of Colorado Springs
