This May in Florida, the Hernando Blueberry Festival takes place as one the Sunshine State’s most fun spring events! Held May 8–10, 2026 at Florida Classic Park, this three-day festival brings together food, music, and local culture in a wide open setting. Blueberry treats are everywhere, from fresh desserts and drinks to bake-offs, cook-offs, and pie-eating contests. Vendors like Mama's Whoopie Pies serve up flavors like blueberry cheesecake whoopie pies alongside other festival eats. Live music and folk performances play across the grounds while you browse artisan and craft booths. You can also check out livestock showcases, 4-H exhibits, and heritage farming demos that highlight the area’s roots. With games, contests, and plenty of space to walk and explore, it’s a laid-back, family-friendly weekend centered around blueberries and community.
