To all the first responders in law enforcement, fire service, emergency medicine, and crisis response, I am nearly finished with data collection for my Ph.D. dissertation, "Prevalence of Intimacy in Relation to Burn-out and Trauma Saturation of First Responders." However, more research participants are necessary to increase the reliability and validity of the research. The study has been identified as exempt status by the Liberty University Institutional Review Board (IRB), IRB-FY25-26-118, due to the absence of risk to participants. Participant information is without any connection to personal identifying information (PII). If you are a first responder and have an average of 7-10 minutes, please take a look at the provided survey link or QR code to help better understand the dynamics of relationships you experience.
