🔥❄️ 🔥❄️ Frost & Flame Festival ❄️🔥 2025 – Ritual Guide & What to Bring ❄️🔥
Frost & Flame isn’t just a winter market — it’s a three-day ritual celebration, and each night holds something truly special. If you want to experience the heart of the festival, these are the moments you won’t want to miss:
✨ Friday, 5:30 PM – The Return of Light
We begin in near-darkness… then one flame is lit, and the whole Nachtmarkt rises with hundreds of small lights from guests and vendors. It’s breathtaking, symbolic, and the perfect opening to the weekend.
🔥 Saturday, 4:45 PM – The Community Flame
Led by Barbara of Panthers Gate Lil Witch, this ritual honors unity, empowerment, and the strength we create when we gather. A circle is cast, lights rise together, and the market fills with shared purpose.
❄️ Sunday, 6:45 PM – The Giving Flame & Yule Log Blessing
We bless all food donations gathered for Solid Rock, then Barbara activates the community’s Yule Blessing Log — filled with the wishes, charms, and intentions added throughout the weekend. It’s a beautiful, emotional closing ceremony.
🌲 Want to contribute to the Yule Log? Bring something!
You’re welcome to bring ribbons, herbs, tiny charms, trinkets, or written blessings to tie onto the log. Your intention becomes part of Sunday’s final blessing.
📝 Blessing papers will also be available all weekend for anyone who wants to write a wish or intention for the new year.
🕯️ IMPORTANT: Bring a light!
Each ritual involves raising lights together.
Please bring a battery candle, lantern, or safe handheld light if you can — we will have a limited number for sale, but they will go quickly.
Every ritual is unique.
Every day has different vendors, food, and energy.

🕯️ The Giving Flame Donation Drive — A Kind Reminder 🕯️
We are so grateful for the generosity our community continues to show. Every time someone places something in our Giving Flame box at Panther’s Gate Lil Witch, it’s a reminder of how deeply Colorado Springs cares for its neighbors.

As we enter the final stretch of the drive, we want to gently clarify what this donation initiative is focused on.

The Giving Flame is a food-centered drive supporting Solid Rock Community Food Center’s Holiday Meal Box program. The pantry has limited storage, and because of that, they are unable to accept clothing donations at this time.

While we truly appreciate the intention behind every gift, clothing takes up space needed for food items and requires additional transport to other agencies who can accept them. To keep our efforts aligned with what Solid Rock needs most for the families they serve, we kindly ask that all donations for this drive be food items only.

Here is Solid Rock’s official Holiday Meal Box list (pictured on the flyer):

• Stuffing
• Cranberry sauce
• Green beans
• Evaporated milk
• Pies
• Cream of mushroom
• Instant potatoes
• Gravy
• Elbow noodles
• Corn
• Rolls / bread
• Fried onions
• $5 grocery gift cards

✨ These are the items that will directly support families this December, and they’re what we hope to deliver in abundance at the end of Frost & Flame. ✨

If you have clothing or household goods you’d like to donate, there are wonderful organizations in the city who specialize in those services — and we’re grateful for anyone supporting them as well.

Thank you for helping us keep The Giving Flame focused, impactful, and truly meaningful for the families who count on this holiday food program.
