Did you know our very own Nurse Practitioner, Katie Walusiak, is part of a local nonprofit called Period Possible? Their mission is to provide free period products and women’s health education throughout the Pikes Peak region.

Thanks to community donations, Period Possible has set up free period pantries that are open to anyone in need — helping make period care accessible for all. 💗

🌿 Welcome, Sandy — Our New Nurse Practitioner! 🌿

We’re thrilled to welcome Sandy, FNP-C, to the Pine Ridge Family Medicine team!

Sandy joined our team a little while ago, and in that time, she’s already made a wonderful impact on our patients and staff alike. A certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree from Purdue University, Sandy brings over 15 years of nursing experience spanning ICU, PACU, and acute care settings.

She’s passionate about the Direct Primary Care model, providing personalized, accessible care for individuals and families through every stage of life. Her special interests include women’s health and hormone replacement therapy, helping patients feel their best and live healthier, more balanced lives.

Outside the clinic, Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.

We’re so grateful to have Sandy as part of our team — and we know our patients feel the same! 💚🌲
