Hiring event at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo!

We have multiple part-time guest experience and food service positions available!

Stop by Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on Fri., March 6, Sun., March 8 or Mon., March 9 anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to share your resume and interview for one of our part-time positions. Interviews are by appointment only; walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Please schedule your interview in advance at cmzoo.org/careers. The latest available interview time is 3:30 p.m.

— Bring your resume.
— Only applicants with a resume in hand may attend the event.
— Shuttle and Sky Ride operator candidates must be 21 or older. All other applicants must be at least 18.

This Black History Month, Embrace Wellness Counseling Services honors Black women. 🤎✨

We honor the strength, brilliance, leadership, and resilience that have shaped families, communities, and professions for generations.

We also honor softness. Humanity. The right to rest.

In this reel, these powerful women speak about the Superwoman Schema — a framework that describes the internalized pressure many Black women experience to remain strong, self-reliant, and composed at all costs.

As mental health providers, we recognize how this expectation can intersect with burnout, anxiety, depression, relational stress, and delayed help-seeking. Naming it matters. Creating space for support and vulnerability matters even more.

We are grateful for the women in this reel who continue to educate, advocate, and lead with courage. Your voices matter.

This month and every month, we remain committed to culturally responsive care, ongoing learning, and honoring Black women not only for what they carry, but for who they are.

Our FREE Mobile Food Pantry is happening today at Springs Church (1515 Auto Mall Loop) from 3:00–5:30 PM. This drive-through pantry is open to anyone who could use food support.
