Hi Everyone! I know it's been a minute. I wanted to let you know that Three Trees Health and Wellness (TTHW) is going through a re-branding. A small hiatus was much needed. I am currently seeing new pelvic floor clients in person and virtually!
I'll save the rest of the story for later ;) Thanks for sticking around. More soon.

Deep Squat or Goddess Pose is a great labor and birth position. It’s just as important to relax and lengthen the pelvic floor as it is to strengthen it!
Try this with me.
1. Bring your legs wider than your hips.
2. Press your hands together and sit into a deep squat.
3. Energetically you should feel your elbows pressing into your knees and your palms pressing together.
4. You may rock from side to side but not if you’re having knee pain.
5. Remember to draw your awareness to your pelvic floor and use your breath and intention to gently guide it into relaxation.
6. Keep your posture aligned with the crown of the head reaching up to the ceiling as your tail bone pulls toward the earth.

Hello Friends and Fellow Mamas,

I am sad to announce that I will unfortunately be cancelling the future Mindfulness Hikes for Moms. Full transparency, I was putting too much on my plate. I think as a professional it's important to recognize when you take on too much and scale back, and also to recognize that it's okay for that to happen. Finding balance and boundary setting is a life long practice.

I'm hoping that this prompts you to take a look at how you're feeling and if you're feeling overwhelmed, know that you have choices and that it's okay to scale back.

Thank you so much for your interest in these hikes and for all the sharing and love. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend.

Our Story

My name is Stacy Dobbs, I am the owner and operator of Three Trees Health and Wellness, LLC. I love Yoga because it has helped me to enjoy life again after the most unimaginable tragedy I have ever faced. My husband and I lost our only son, Elan, to cancer. Elan was just under a year old, a baby. He had just a short glimpse of this world and then he was gone. I had just a short glimpse of the most intense love I have ever known before it was ripped away from me. In order to honor my son’s life I made a promise that I would not drown myself in the depths of my own sorrow. Soon after this tragedy, I retreated to the secluded Jungle of Costa Rica to find some solace. There, amidst the Howler monkeys, the soothing sounds of the Caribbean Sea, and the peace of a pristine natural environment, I discovered connectedness. I found union. I completed my 200 hour YTT with the Kula Collective and registered with the Yoga Alliance. I am also a nationally registered and licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of New Mexico. I believe that I was put on this Earth to be a Healer. I started Three Trees Health and Wellness, LLC to share the true blessings of what Yoga can offer. The three trees in my logo are especially meaningful. These trees stand for my family and for our loss of Elan. You see, the name Elan means tree. They remind me everyday to keep going. To give the best of myself in every moment while honoring my son’s life through my actions and what I give to this world. They remind me to take care of myself, to genuinely listen to my needs and heed to them. The three trees have become my foundation. They symbolize the strength it took and continues to take to move forward, to grow upward and outward. I teach yoga because I truly believe it has saved my life. It is my life’s honor and pleasure to share it with you.
