“I had to ask for help. The willingness to know I couldn’t go it alone.” 🙏

13 years sober 👏 That is incredible. From fighting through it to living fully and giving back.

This is what long term recovery looks like. Growth, honesty, and showing others what’s possible. If you’re struggling, you don’t have to do it alone. There’s a way forward 💙

Grateful to be part of the Colorado Community Champions Series presented by Sunwave & Lightning Step. It was an evening focused on connection, collaboration, and moving the behavioral health field forward.
Our Founder and CEO, Chris Burns, shared his talk on “The Five Fingers of the Glove,” highlighting a more integrated approach to care. From addressing the root causes behind substance use to emphasizing individualized treatment, family involvement, and strong organizational alignment, the message was simple. Real healing happens when care is intentional, connected, and built around the whole person.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and continues to support and strengthen this community.

Where are you getting your dopamine from? 💭

In this moment, Sam Peterson challenges us to look at what is truly fueling us. Are we chasing quick hits and instant gratification, or are we finding it through real human connection? The source matters more than we think.

You don’t have to give in to what feels heavy. 🤍
Take it one step at a time.

“I’ve never had a clearer mind.” .pav ✨

Two years sober, and it shows 💛 Clearer mind, more self-awareness, and real growth happening.

This is what choosing yourself looks like. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. If you’ve been thinking about making a change, this is your sign that better is possible 💫

“The past and the future don’t exist the way we think they do… and that’s often where the suffering lives.” 💭

In this episode, Chris reminds us of the power of presence. When we bring ourselves back to the moment we’re actually in, we create space for clarity, healing, and real change.

Be where your feet are. That’s where life happens.

In this episode of Finding Peaks, Chris reconnects with Sparkle Lindsay — Peaks alumni, coach, community champion, and founder of Sparkle LLC — for a powerful conversation on growth, healing, and what it really means to show up for yourself and others. Since her last appearance, Sparkle has stepped fully into her role as a coach’s coach and community leader, helping others navigate their own journeys while continuing to deepen her own work. Together, Chris and Sparkle explore what defines a true coach, the importance of “holding space,” and why the strongest people aren’t the ones who carry everything — but the ones who learn to stand on the strength beneath them.
This episode dives into the idea of being “the strong person,” the weight that can come with it, and how healing from the core allows you to shift from surviving to truly living. Sparkle shares her perspective on helping people help themselves, becoming a different kind of role model, and recognizing that the real light at the end of the tunnel isn’t a destination — it’s the work itself.
Grounded, reflective, and deeply human, this conversation is a reminder to slow down, take a breath, and come back to what matters most — right here, right now. For more information on Sparkle, check out sparklelindsay.com.

“I got sober because I was running out of chances to become the father she deserves.” ❤️

600 days later and still showing up. Still rebuilding. Still becoming.

That’s powerful. Choosing growth, choosing family, choosing better every day. Big respect for this journey 🙌 If you’re in a tough spot right now, change is possible. One day at a time.

Growth is choosing compassion over criticism. 🌱One day at a time.

Ever catch your mind running worst case scenarios on repeat? 💭

In this clip, Sam Peterson shares a real moment of getting pulled into “what if” thinking and the power of coming back to the present. When we use our creativity against ourselves, we lose focus on what actually matters.

Be where your feet are. That is where your power is. 💪

“Sobriety changed my life for the better.” 🤍

525 days and still choosing it every single day 👏 That’s what it’s all about. Not being perfect, just not giving up.

Huge respect for sticking with it through the hard moments. It adds up. And if you’re on day 1 or thinking about starting, this is your reminder that it really can stick 💫
