I’m excited to share a glimpse into one of the modalities I’ve been studying—Takeuta Vocal Method 1.
This class was such a powerful experience, exploring how the voice, sound, and vibration can be used in deeply supportive and transformative ways.
Grateful to Molly for creating and sharing this work from her own lived experience and dedication.
I love continuing to learn, grow, and bring new tools into the spaces I hold. 💫
My first cohort of my Takeuta Vocal Method Level 1 Foundations workshop! And they all want to continue to Level 2. 🙌 Interested for the next one coming up in May? Comment "Woo Hoo" if you would like to be on the Waitlist.
The Takeuta™ Vocal Method is a structured system of embodied vocal training that bridges ancient voice traditions with modern nervous system regulation, and can be applied in sound healing and other therapeutic or music-based practices.
Rooted in Molly’s 40 years of vocal training — including Western classical music and Eastern traditional musics, specifically Japanese folk song while residing in Japan for 11 years — Takeuta™ integrates lineage-based vocal discipline with contemporary regulation principles.
The name Takeuta, meaning “bamboo song,” was given to Molly by her Japanese folk song teacher. It reflects the method’s core: like bamboo, the body becomes aligned and open, allowing breath to move efficiently and produce clear, steady resonance.
