I've been teaching yoga for over 7 years now. As most things happen, I've grown a lot and so has my passion.

I decided a while back to offer other services, it was worried what some people might think. Does tarot readings and ritual services really go with yoga? Will people who want to take a yoga class be turned off by my witchy offerings?

Then it became too much to handle two websites, two sets of social media accounts, have a day job, be a wife and doggy mama, and offer my various services. So, I decided to merge my two businesses. I'll still be teaching yoga, but it will now all be under Ember Rites.

Yoga in the park starts today. I'm ecstatic that I can share yoga with my students outside in this gorgeous scenery. That blue is not filtered. We really do have blue skies here.

Things have changed at the studio a little. Now we are letting students determine if they want to wear a mask, but requesting people who haven't been vaccinated wear one for a bit longer.

Also, no one will be judged for wearing one. We know some people are protecting themselves or family members who haven't been vaccinated yet.

My classes are still pretty small most of the time, so if you are a little unsure about taking classes with people not wearing masks, that might be a good way to ease into it.

When practicing on your own, you can encounter poses or movements that can actually hurt you if not done correctly. It is incredibly important to listen to your body and respect your own limitations.
